Prediabetes and Prevention

The first step for managing prediabetes is understanding what a prediabetes diagnosis means.

Treatment may include lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, and medication.

If you receive a prediabetes diagnosis, it means you have a higher-than-normal blood sugar level. But it’s not high enough to qualify as a diagnosis of diabetes.

Why There is Nothing “Pre” About Diabetes…

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with prediabetes, forget the ‘pre’ - you are well on the way to compromised health and the time for massive action is now.

Over 50% of those with prediabetes will develop diabetes, with about 6% doing so in the first year.

Waiting for diabetes to develop before taking massive action makes no sense.

The earlier we address insulin resistance, the easier it is to reverse it.
