Helping Older Adults Live Independently with Meal Delivery, Housing Support, and Caring Services Across BC
Seniors Services Society of BC (SSSBC) is a nonprofit based in New Westminster, BC. It provides programs and services that help older adults maintain independence, access housing, and get community support.

Meal Delivery Program
Provides nutritious, affordable meals for seniors who cannot cook on their own.
Meals are prepared by Better Meals and delivered directly to clients’ homes.
Promotes independence and supports healthy aging.
Better at Home Programs
Provincial initiative that helps seniors live independently by offering services such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and transportation.
Housing Services
Homeless Outreach Services: Supports seniors at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Housing Navigation Information: Helps seniors find safe, affordable housing.
Temporary Housing Program: Short-term housing support for seniors in crisis.
Support Services
Help with forms and tax completion, which can be a barrier for many seniors.
Access to a Mental Health and Addictions Directory, connecting clients to additional resources.
They also support community engagement
Events: Community gatherings and fundraisers (like Walk of Ages).
Membership: Seniors and community members can join SSSBC to access programs, receive updates, and support the organization.
Volunteer & Careers: Opportunities to contribute to the work of SSSBC.
